Automatic Interviewer (AI) is an audio/visual recording software that allows users to record interviews or presentations for evaluation, practice, and archiving. The interviewer inputs a series of questions or prompts. Each interviewee can read the question and record a response. AI is intended for use by individuals in a variety of fields and professions, including doctors, artists, engineers, teachers, students, performers, law enforcement, lawyers, etc.

AI has many applications within a school setting. In the classroom, the instructor can enter questions or prompts, and students can log in to record answers to each question. Once complete, the teacher and/or the class can view the responses to one or all of the questions by an individual student or by the whole class. In foreign language classes, students can practice their oral language skills in a controlled, but non-threatening environment. In music, art, or sports, students and teachers can record their techniques or performances for demonstration or analysis. Students or teachers can practice for live presentations or interviews. A school kiosk can be set up to get opinions on school issues. Student government nominees can be interviewed and their responses broadcast to the student body. School administrators can conduct preliminary interviews for teacher applicants. Teachers or administrators can answer students' frequently asked questions. At an open house, teachers can show parents how their child answered questions.

System Requirements: An Intel or PowerPC Macintosh computer with attached or internal video camera running OS 10.4 or higher, a screen resolution of at least 1280x800 pixels, and at least 500 megabytes of RAM.
